The Emran Journal of Islamic Education Management (EJIEM) takes its name from the Arabic word (ʿImrān), meaning prosperity, civilization, development, and sustainability — values that reflect the journal's core mission. EJIEM is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal published biannually (in June and December), grounded in the scientific field of Islamic Education Management, which integrates management science, Islamic studies, educational science, and social sciences.
The journal focuses on empirical, conceptual, and policy-oriented studies on the governance of Islamic educational institutions — from madrasah and pesantren to Islamic universities — covering eight core areas: institutional management, human resource management, curriculum and policy, quality and accreditation, finance and endowment, digital transformation, Islamic values in management, and comparative studies.
