Author Guidelines

Manuscripts submitted to JCIS must comply with the following requirements:

  • Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere; a signed originality/exclusive-submission statement is required.
  • Length: 6,000–9,000 words, including references, tables, and figures.
  • Structure: Title, Abstract (150–250 words), Keywords (4–6), Introduction, Literature Review/Theoretical Framework, Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgements, References.
  • Language: Manuscripts should be submitted in clear, academic English; Indonesian or Arabic abstracts may be provided in addition.
  • Citation Style: References must follow APA 7th edition (or the journal's designated style) and be managed using a reference manager (Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote).
  • Formatting: Manuscripts must follow the official JCIS template (available for download on the journal website), including margins, font, and heading hierarchy.
  • Ethical Statements: Where applicable, authors must include statements on ethical approval, informed consent, and conflicts of interest.
  • Submission: All manuscripts must be submitted through the journal's Open Journal System (OJS) online submission portal.
