Open Access Policy

JCIS is a fully open-access journal. All content is made freely available online immediately upon publication, without subscription, registration, or embargo barriers, in accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition of open access.

• License: All articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0), permitting free reuse with proper attribution for non-commercial purposes.
• Author Rights: Authors retain copyright of their work and grant the journal a non-exclusive right of first publication.
• Archiving: Published content is deposited in long-term digital preservation networks (e.g., LOCKSS/CLOCKSS, Portico, or an institutional repository) to ensure continued access.
• No Access Fees: Readers may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles at no charge.
