Plagiarism Notice

JCIS maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards plagiarism and other forms of research misconduct. All submitted manuscripts are screened using similarity-detection software (Turnitin/iThenticate) prior to peer review.

• A similarity index exceeding 20% (excluding quotations, references, and methodological boilerplate) will result in the manuscript being returned to the author for substantial revision or outright rejection.
• Manuscripts found to contain substantial verbatim or paraphrased content from other sources without proper attribution, including self-plagiarism (redundant or duplicate publication), will be rejected.
• If plagiarism is discovered after publication, the journal will follow COPE's retraction guidelines, issuing a formal retraction or correction notice and notifying the author's institution as appropriate.
